Wedding Details

We hope that our wedding is a uniquely fun, happy, and unforgettable experience for everyone.  We are planning an event that combines both of our beliefs and life perspectives, and also one that reflects how much fun we have as a couple and as a family.  We mostly just want everyone to have fun!

For more details, please see the questions and answers below.  And feel free to email us any additional questions, and we'll do our best to answer them for everyone here.

What should I wear?

We will be dressed formally, but please feel free to dress more casual. We are planning on having games and being somewhat active as part of the reception activities.

Keep in mind that Madison weather is unpredictable, so it could drop in temperature as the evening goes on.  You might be very happy with yourself if you remember to bring along a sweater or light jacket.

Will there be an area for praying?

Most definitely.  Because the Muslim afternoon ('Asr) and evening (Maghrib) prayers will occur during our wedding hours, we will arrange congregational prayers for these prayers for for anyone who would like to join.  The prayer area will be set up on the country grounds at the wedding site, so there is no need to bring anything.

What kind of drinks will be available?

We don't drink, so ours will be an alcohol-free wedding. We ask that you please do not bring along any wine or other alcohol of your own.

We will have Dr. Pepper, Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Mountain Dew, water (with Lemon), lemonade, and any other juice that is highly requested.
