One last night out on the town with your best girlfriends—for now, anyway. If this is your last time to be single and go crazy with the girls, or you are planning the outing for a friend, you’ll need to make sure the party is a success.

If you are given the responsibility for planning a bachelorette party for a friend or family member, you may feel slightly overwhelmed. This is perfectly natural. Thankfully, there are many tips to help you plan a successful bachelorette party. Here are two important tips that are sure to help you throw a successful bachelorette party without all of the stress.

Enlist the Help of the Whole Wedding Party

No one should have to plan a bachelorette party alone. If it’s a surprise party, you can still secretly plan a great party with all of the bridesmaids and any of the bride’s friends and family. You still need to have a few people in charge of the planning, but that doesn’t mean you cannot rely on other people for ideas, advice, or for help setting up.

Just remember to designate one or two people at most people to make all of the decisions and take care of all the planning. If you have too many people making phone calls and reservations, things get too confusing, and the plans may somehow get messed up. Use the help of others, but take care of any ordering and reservations yourself, along with one other person.

Always Consider what the Bride Wants

The bachelorette party is not about you or the rest of the bridesmaids. It is a celebration for the bride, so keep that in mind when you are planning a party. Just because you think it would be a great idea to throw a wild and crazy bachelorette party does not mean that the bride would appreciate it. Try and take an accurate guess as to what the bride would like at her party, and respect her limits.

For example, if there is any doubt in your mind about bringing other men into the picture, you should definitely pass on the idea. You don’t want to take the bachelorette out of her comfort zone and risk her not enjoying her own party. The party is about her, so keep your own preferences to yourself and treat her like a princess. Keeping these things in mind will help you be on your way to throwing a fun bachelorette party.
